SYNOPSIS

Jean-Marc Mahy went to prison when he was seventeen and a half years old. He got out nineteen years later after a long journey in another world, a parallel world, a world that lives and breathes at its own pace, following its own rules. A world that is forgotten by the society. « Vers une inconditionnelle liberté », allows us to live the last six months of his parole, bringing us inside his everyday life : at the theater where he acts in “Un Homme Debout”, a play he co-wrote to tell his story, and in universities and detention centers for teenagers where he talks about his journey… This is the picture of a man speaking about the right to exist after paying his debt to the Justice even if it won’t ever be to society.
