Magritte Award for Best First Film to “Bitter Flowers”!

For the 9th edition of the Magritte Awards, director Olivier Meys won the Best First Film prize for “Bitter Flowers”. Starring Qi Xi (“Mistery”) and Meihuizi Zeng (“Lost in Beijing”) as the main characters, Olivier Meys’ drama succeeds to please the members of the André Delvaux Academy.

In the context of the Magritte Awards Tour by “la Quadrature du cercle”, the award-winning films will be shown in cultural centers and local cinemas. A good way to (re)discover “Bitter Flowers”, already planned for the 20th February at Eghezée. More dates to come.
